WTEA Go to Shea

WTEA took a road trip to Shea Stadium on Friday, May 30, 2008.  It was a sell out trip for the Mets vs. LA Dodgers.  The Mets were winning until the 8th inning and then it was all down hill from there.  The Mets lost 9 - 5.  Everyone had a great time and can't wait until next year's trip.

Photos coming soon!

Local Pride grants

NJEA also provides grants to its local affiliates for projects that bring the public schools out into the community and the community into the public schools. Family involvement programs, participation in community fairs and events, Read Across America celebrations, and senior citizen outreach efforts are among the hundreds of local “Pride” projects conducted each year by NJEA members.
